The Top Expired Report is designed to show you your highest expired counts, regardless of whether the items were rotated and used, or not.

The Top Expired Report can be sorted by item count, dollars lost, and shrink percentage. A shrink percentage over 100% indicates that the location has disposed of more of that item than they were projected to use. This is designed to be a red flag for management, indicating that the department is over-ordering that item.

The path to access the Top Expired Report is shown below.

Choosing Top Expired from the sidebar list will display the Top Expired report as shown below.  Keep in mind that every item that you see can be clicked upon to expand and show you all of the instances that have contributed to the total expired amount.  If you are authorized to view multiple locations, this expanded view will also indicate the different locations that have expired items of this type. Items can be sorted by name, units lost, dollars lost, and shrink percentage.
