What are expired items?

Items fall under the expired category when the known date of the item has passed the threshold, determined by your company, for when items can no longer be used. The threshold, or number of days before expiry, at which an item is pulled from the shelf, can vary by location and department.

It is possible that the program will direct the user to remove items from the shelf prior to the date printed on the package. This is a result of a corporate decision to pull said items early. This action should always be completed as directed.
