You can have multiple lists of paper out at one time, but individual items cannot be on multiple lists.  As an example, if you print a list that encompasses everything available to check in the store today, and then reprint a list tomorrow with everything in the store again, it will disable the list that was printed today.  

However, if you print a list today that is just for the dairy department, and tomorrow you print a list that is just the grocery department, the dairy department list won't be impacted and both will be allowed to exist at the same time.
