How do I submit the dates from my paper list?

If you have questions on how to start the process of printing out lists, check out our article on "How do I create a paper list?"

On the screen above the button to print the page is shown with the arrow.  Once you print that page, it will be filled out by your date checker in the columns and fields that have been left blank.  When you get that sheet back, make sure you are filling out the following information:

The first piece of information you will be updating is whether or not there was expired product on the shelf (or close dated inventory if you are checking a close dated list).  If you change this to yes, the program will force you to enter a count higher than 0, so you will only be updating that second field if you change the answer to yes.  If you leave it as no because nothing was found, you can skip the How Many Expired column.

Whether you pulled expired inventory from the shelf or not, you will need to fill out the next pieces of information so you know when to go back to that specific item.  If you mark something as OOS (Out of Stock) or Disco (Discontinued), you won't need to enter the new expiration date.  If you enter the new expiration date, an item should have been on the shelf and therefore can't be Out of Stock or Discontinued.

Once you have finished entering all of the information off of the sheet (that doesn't need to be everything on the page), you should scroll to the bottom and select Submit.  Once you do, your screen will look like the page below:

Notice how the entered information is now blue.  These are the items that have submitted information for them.  If you were only partially done submitting a list, you will see some information as blue, and the empty information fields from above that still need to be submitted.  Keep working through your list until everything is submitted and you can print a new one, or it becomes time to print a new list and override what is on that list.  If you create a new list that overrides the items that need to be checked because it puts them on the new list, be sure to throw away the pieces of paper that are already done.
