What are new items?

New items are added to Date Check Pro for some companies as a way to manage all of the new items that are added to store shelves and making sure that they are added into the program.  Depending on the available data your company has with these items, they will sometimes have the location in the store, and sometimes they will not.  Given the information you have, new items are updated by finding the item in the store and adding the next closest date into Date Check Pro.  You will want to update the location (and department) if necessary once you have found the item.
