What are expired items?

Expired items are items that are close enough to their expiration date that your store wants them pulled from the shelf.  This is different for each company that uses the program, as well as the different departments in the store.  As an example, some stores might pull grocery items a week before their expiration date while dairy and processed meat items might be pulled two days in advance.

If the program is saying to pull the items from the shelf because they are expired you should do that, even if the date on the product has not happened yet.
